My husband is a Navy Seal from Vietnam. He and I are very patriotic. Whenever we see a military person in uniform eating out we anonomously pick up their table's check. We eat out almost daily. Since we live in the New Orleans area there is no shortage of restaurants. My daughter and I were dining at lunch today and I surprised her when I asked for the other table's check.
I always write a note thanking the person for serving our country. ;-) SURE MAKES MY DAY. I HOPE IT MAKES THEIRS.
