This past Thursday there was a dog that was playing in a couple of yards by itself in the snow. He looked happy and he was wearing a collar, but with no tags and there was no one around. I pulled over my car to go get the dog, even though I was always told not to approach strange dogs, but I wanted to anyways. It is a fairly busy road and I was worried he might get hurt, especially being in a playful mood. After playing with the dog a little and getting him to trust me, I opened up my car door and invited him to go for a ride. He jumped in and I drove to a nearby pets store, who took care of them. A friend who works there let me know that the family wasn't making an effort to get him back, he was brought to a no-kill adoption center, and he was found to have some serious medical conditions that are being treated for right now. Please adopt a pet today...they are full of love and just need a good home.
